| Summer is a time to deepen understanding of the Gospel.
Jesus asks, "Who am I?" The worshiping community can ask similar questions:
Does the person with whom I worship next to me know my name? Who is the
person I sit next to at liturgy?
On Pentecost Sunday identify each other as the many gifts gathered. Make name<->tags for all. Wear them every Sunday. Prior to Mass, introduce parish visitors and share life stories. During the prayers of the faithful pray for the catechumens, the sick and the dead by name. Be mindful that Jesus calls each of us by name; now the worshiping community calls each other by name, deepening their <->understanding of the paschal mystery. Recommended Reading
