Annual Rate Policy
- Rates are subject to change without notice.
- Discounts (1x, 3x, 6x) based on the number of ads run after a schedule has been determined.
- Advertising subject to approval by publisher.
- Rates listed are for camera-ready copy only. See section below if composition assistance is desired.
- No allowance for errors in key numbers or back-to-back coupons.
- No cancellations permitted on preferred positions or covers. No cancellations on other space permitted after closing date.
- Prepayment required for first-time advertisers.
Creative Services
- Web Site Development: $100/hour
- Design and Production: $80/hour
- Color Scans: $60/scan
- Black and white scans: $35/scan
- Stripping charges: $50 each
- 4-color separations: call for quote
Commissions, Discounts, Charges
Agency/Camera-ready Discount: 15% discount to any agency or advertiser that provides camera-ready stats, film, or electronic files.No discounts on invoices older than 30 days. No discounts on color charges.Cash Discount: 2% of net, 10 days from date of invoice, after agency commission deducted.
Finance Charge: 1.5% will be assessed monthly on invoices unpaid after 30 days.
Late Fees: 10% for insertion orders and 10% for artwork received after the closing date.

Bleed
Availability: Full page ads only, 8 3/8" x 10 7/8", bleeds should extend an additional 1/8" from trim.Layout: Important illustrations and type should be kept 3/8" from the trim edges and 5/8" from the gutter.
Special Positions
All position stipulations appearing on orders, except covers, will be treated as requests. Positions guaranteed only after consulting publication as to availability. Preferred position guarantee for full page only: 10% additional charge. Call for rates on special inserts.Reader Service
1/6 page and larger ads will be assigned reader service numbers. Inquiry labels will be furnished to clients bi-weekly after publication. Reader service numbers for ads smaller than 1/6 page may be obtained for a $20 processing fee.Bulletin Board

5+ insertions: $.90/word per insertion
Regulations:
Payment must accompany order.
Phone no. and box no. each count as two words.
Dates (July 1-15) count as two words.

Mechanical Requirements
Specifications: Trim size is 8 3/8" x 10 7/8".Binding: Saddle wire.
Method of printing: Sheet-fed or web offset lithography.
Photographs: Photos must be screened at 150 lines.
Dimensions: See "Display Dimensions."
Printing materials: in order of preference: negatives (right reading, emulsion side down), veloxes, camera-ready art.
Not responsible for art after 90 days. Include disposition instructions with order.

Subscription price: $30 per year (domestic), single copy price $5.00.Controlled circulation: 8,000 copies seen by more than 48,000 pass-along readers. Approximately 2,000 promotional copies distributed to conferences, universities, and regional offices of worship.
