Description:

This restoration removed the whitewashing paint and restored the mural paintings. This is a "museum grade" restoration of an architecturally significant church in Manhatten. It honors a traditional architectual interior while respecting the liturgical norms of Vatican II. After the paint was removed, the original murals were restored with acrylic paint, oil paint, canvas, and restoration sealer.
