Sermon Index: Textually indexed sermons from Loveland Protestant Reformed Church (The Rev. G. Van Baren).

* Commentary on the RCL Readings: Weekly commentary and exegesis on the lectionary readings by Chris Haslam of the Anglican Church of Canada, Westmount, Quebec. 
* Deacon Sil's Homiletics Page: Not only does Deacon Sil Galvan prepare well in advance and post by lectionary date, the page also has a useful "thematic index". 
Desperate Preacher's Home Page : A site that seeks dialogue to help create sermons for upcoming Lections. Uses many of the links and concepts from Richard Fairchild's site.
First Baptist Church Sermons:: A page by Pastor David Russell in Arthur, IL. Generally a new offering posted by Friday evening.

Lectionary discussion list servers

These list servers are capable of overloading your mailboxes with hundreds of notes a week. But they are useful forums and many good ideas are posted each week of the year. Some of them have digest features that make handling the number of notes much easier.

SERMONSHOP — Started in 1984, this ECUNET list server is the longest existing forum regarding the upcoming lectionary passages. To subscribe send an email to, and on the first line enter the word "subscribe." Note that the
Presbyterian Church (USA): has made available the Sermonshop Archives: a fully searchable WWW site. 
GOSPEL TALK — a weekly e-mail discussion of the Gospel appointed by the Episcopal Lectionary. Send an e-mail to, and put only the word “SUBSCRIBE” in the Subject box.
