Resurrection Jesus

Constructed in 15 panels, each four feet square. 
This piece is a temporary installation each year—Easter Sunday through Pentecost.
The panels are set and secured into the existing window frames.

This piece is the backdrop to the altar.  On both sides of it are additional window walls, floor to ceiling and approximately 24 feet in each direction.  The image is Christ's glorious resurrection from the earth/death—indicated by the water and land forms and colors in the lower 1/3 of the piece.  He raises his arms with strength and power, showing praise and victory as the shrouds fall from his shoulders.  The clear and etched glass pieces were used to echo the large clear glass wall to the left and right of this piece.
