Announcing: Passover
Seder Resources in Digital Format.
SAN JOSE, Calif., February 13, 2007—Resource Publications announces
that two great resources are now available in digital format. Celebrating
an Authentic Passover Seder: A Haggadah for Home and Church, Host's Edition
and Celebrating an Authentic Passover Seder: A Haggadah for Home and
Church, Participant’s Edition are now available in an electronic format
which can be downloaded to your computer. Bookmarks are included for ease
of navigation.
Celebrating an Authentic Passover Seder: A Haggadah for Home and
Church (Host’s Edition) gives all the help needed to plan and present
an authentic Passover seder for family and friends at home or in a larger
setting for a parish community. It is complete with recipes, shopping lists,
directions for setup, and the complete Haggadah itself. This includes
a script with the prayers and blessings from the ancient Passover tradition.
There is also a section which makes the connection between Passover and
Eucharist and provides a Christian conclusion to the seder service.
Celebrating an Authentic Passover Seder: A Haggadah for Home and
Church (Participant’s Edition) contains the complete Haggadah itself
with all the blessings and prayers so the participants can have a part
in the readings and prayers. This E-book comes with permission to copy
these texts for the participants. Instead of the original format where
it was necessary to buy a book for each individual, with this electronic
format, only one purchase is necessary to make as many copies as needed.
This edition is formatted with two pages per sheet for efficient printing
or copying.
Joseph M. Stallings has his master’s degree in applied theology from
the Graduate Theological Union (University of California, Berkeley).
His first book, “Rediscovering Passover: A Complete Guide for Christians,”
explores Passover customs and traditions from the Exodus through today—with
emphasis on how Jesus’ last supper was probably a Passover seder.
Stallings has helped organize and cook for the annual seder at his parish
in San Jose, California.
