About the Author
George F. Collopy functioned as art director/artist for Ministry & Liturgy magazine since its inception in 1973, until his death in 2004. During his 40-year professional career, he has served as art director for Pan American World Airways; vice president and art director for Michelson Advertising; art director and communications manager for Raychem Corporation; and corporate art director for the George Group of printing companies. He has served a number of terms as a member of the Archdiocese of San Francisco’s Commission of Worship, Art and Music. His biography, which includes many national and international awards, first appeared in the 19th edition of Who’s Who in the West.
