MORGAN’S BABY SISTER
A Read-Aloud Book for Families Who Have Experienced the Death of a Newborn
Patricia Polin Johnson and
Donna Reilly Williams
Paper, $11.95
64 pages, 6" × 9"
ISBN 0-89390-257-8

Quantity:

A read-aloud story of a little girl, Morgan, and her parents, who try to sort out their feelings of confusion and grief after the death of their premature baby. This can assist parents and adult caregivers with the difficult and often painful task of helping children understand their feelings about tragedies they experience.

Reviews

[Morgan’s Baby Sister] sensitively and realistically portrays the emotions of all members of a family and especially a little child. It is not sentimental, but straightforward and unafraid. I’m sure a child, and an entire family, would be blessed by the use of this book.”
— Josee Jordan, director of Christian education degree program, Lutheran Bible Institute of Seattle

“The story is true to life and addresses many of the questions and concerns a family faces following the loss of a child. In addition to being an encouragement to the many families that experience infant loss, Morgan’s Baby Sister will be a valuable resource to [support] groups such as ours.”
— Leslie Snodgrass, co-editor, Stepping Stones Ministry, Wichita, Kansas
