What is The Ministry of Mothers Sharing

The Ministry of Mothers Sharing is a ministry of the Benedictine Sisters of St. Paul's Monastery in St. Paul, Minnesota, with resource materials published by Resource Publications.  This peer ministry was co-created by Paula Hagen, O.S.B., Vickie LoPiccolo Jennett, and Patricia Hoyt based on the theology of "Called and Gifted". Since 1992, the Ministry of Mothers Sharing has reached over 500,000 women and their families in over 100 dioceses. More than 3,000 parishes have purchased the initial Beginner's Kit.

Reviews

“Many of us today are recognizing the need to develop in our busy lifestyles the daily discipline of reflection; really, of claiming our lives, our stories as revelatory of God’s love. MOMS: A Personal Journal is an important resource for this prayerful activity, especially for those whose vocation is that of being a mom.”
— Edward Sellner, author of Mentoring: The Ministry of Spiritual Kinship and Soul-Making: The Telling of a Spiritual Journey

“MOMS: A Personal Journey is for you and for your real but sometimes neglected personal needs. Try it!”
— Fr. William J. Fitzgerald, St. Gregory Parish, Ralston, Neb.

“I so wish I had a MOMS group when my sons and I were younger. As it is, I have only in later years learned to share, to journal and to grow as I see your young mothers doing now.”
— Donna M. Hanson, secretary, Office of Social Ministries, Spokane, Wash.
