Liturgical Renewal in Your Community
Susan S. Jorgensen

272 pages, 5½" × 8½"
ISBN 0-89390-236-5

Quantity:

This book — drawing on what we know about ritual, not only from theology, but also from psychology, sociology and anthropology — tells us what is missing in today’s worship, and what to do about it. Rekindling the Passion for Liturgical Renewal will help you rekindle the passion for liturgy in the heart of your community. The author’s fresh perspective and practical ideas will inspire your efforts to continue the reforms called for by Vatican II.

Reviews

Rekindling the Passion is right on target as to what is missing in so much of parish worship ... It will give a parish readership good material to focus their own discussions apropos of their own local scene.”
— Peter E. Fink, S.J., author of Worship: Praying the Sacraments

“This seminal work opens the door for us on the true meaning of liturgical renewal.”
— The Rev. James P. Moroney, chair, FDLC

“... an exceptional tool for all liturgy teams, commissions, committees and personnel to use, read, study, digest and ponder ...”
— The Rev. Kenneth J. Suibielski, D.Min., M.A., director, Office for Worship, Providence, R.I.

“Jorgensen’s book is an excellent resource that deserves many readers.”
— Praying magazine
