About the Author

Donald L. Deffner maintains his home in Moraga, Calif., while spending half the year as visiting professor at Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, Ind. There he teaches courses in homiletics, Christian education and witnessing to intellectuals. He holds advanced degrees in theology and has authored more than 20 books. He travels widely, conducting continuing education workshops for pastors.
