 1. Overview: This demo requires navigation of a four step process in order for you to be able to run the demo. First, the compressed installation software must be downloaded into an empty folder. Second, the downloaded sr3demo.exe file must be "run" (it is a program) to unpack the installation files. It places its ten unpacked files in the folder it is in. Third, the unpacked file named setup.exe must be "run" to perform the installation. Finally, fourth, the demo can be "run" by locating the program name in the Start | Programs list. What follows are detailed instructions to perform these steps.
 2. Download Sacramental Register demo as SR3Demo.exe
 3. Put SR3Demo.exe in an otherwise empty temporary folder on a hard drive.
 4. Use Windows Explorer or Start | Run to run/open/execute SR3Demo.exe from Windows. It will expand into several files in your temporary folder. When finished, this program may leave a black DOS screen on your display. If so, click on the X in the upper right hand corner to close it.
 5. Uninstall any previous installation of version 3.0 before proceeding to step 6. Uninstall by going to Start | Settings | Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs. Go down the list looking for Sacramental Register 3.0. Highlight it and click on the Add/Remmove button. Remove everything it will let you remove (any user created data files will NOT be removed by this step).
 6. Next, install the newly downloaded version. To do that, go to the start button (Start | Run | browse...) and run one of those new files (SETUP.EXE) in the temporary directory, from Windows.
 7. Follow the instructions on the screen.
 8. After installation, to launch go to Start | Programs | Sacramental Register | Sacramental Register 3.0.exe. When the program launches, click OK at the password prompt to enter the program as a guest user in the demo mode.
 9. To use the program, click on the File menu and select create a new set of data files. Create each new set of files in a separate new folder. Create new files with any file name you wish, provided it ends in the character zero, followed by point db. For example, StJohnChurch0.db would be a valid file name. Once created, click on enter or edit data, and add data for as many new sacrament recipients as you like, along with specifics for any sacraments received. You must add first and last names and a baptism date as a minimum. View the help file for any necessary instructions. Enjoy.
 10. The demo is limited. It will run forever, but will only permit any set of data files to be opened up to five times, and it prints a fixed church name on all certificates.
11. To uninstall the demo, go to start | settings | control panel and click on add/remove programs. Find Sacramental Register in the list and click on it to remove it from your system. You will have to remove separately any sets of data files you create with the program.
