News Releases |
- Added the complete table of contents for the December 2000 -- January 2001 issue of MINISTRY & LITURGY magazine, including the feature article Electronic Music Ahead and the departments Inside ML, Worship Times, Sharings, and Bulletin Inserts 1 and 2.
- LITURGICAL CATECHESIS is being announced as a new magazine making its debut in October 2001. Aimed at parish DREs and pastors, this bi-monthly magazine will replace the Liturgical Catechesis Newsletter which has been published for the past few years. Check out the release announcement for it at New magazine coming in 2001.
- Added the complete table of contents for the November, 2000 issue of MINISTRY & LITURGY magazine, including stained glass visual arts awards photos and the departments Inside ML, Worship Times, Sharings, and Bulletin Inserts 1 and 2.
- Added the complete table of contents for the December 2000 - January 2001 issue of SIMPLE GIFTS newsletter.
- Building A Eucharistic Community: A Handbook for Liturgical Catechesis is another forthcoming project in Spring 2001. A useful resource for any parish working with liturgical catechesis. Check out the release announcement for it at Building A Eucharistic Community.
- The Catholic Wedding Answer Book is another of the many forthcoming projects on the boards here for Spring 2001. This may be the one that finally gets those determined brides into the groove. Check out the release announcement for it at The Catholic Wedding Answer Book.
- You might say it is because we have been too busy with new projects, but, after a bit more than a year of hiatus in regular press releases, we have begun to crank them up again, beginning with releases describing two of the many forthcoming projects on the boards here for Spring 2001. Check out the releases anytime by clicking on the heading below What's New on the RPI home page, or clicking on the news releases heading at the top of this page. The two projects announced today: Acts of Salvation and Catechizing for Justice.
- Added new details for the Events Series, including a brief blurb about the major Convention on Liturgical Catechesis planned for Kansas City on October 19-21, 2001 (save the dates!), plus complete on-line brochures for the Liturgical Catechesis Experience - Orlando and the Liturgical Catechesis Experience - Austin.

- The Demo version of Sacramental Register 3.0 has been uploaded again today (30 September). There has been no change to the program itself, but the HELP files have been revised to include a brief set of keywords for an index. Check it out as a FREE demo at Software.

- The Demo version of Sacramental Register 3.0 has been uploaded again today (14 September). This one corrected some problems with the Data Conversion Program (for users with older versions), and it adds a couple of new features. - Added the tables of contents of the May-June, July-August, and September-October 2000 issues of the bimonthly Liturgical Catechesis Newsletter. Subscriptions to this newsletter are now available at $24 per year.
- Added the complete table of contents for the September, 2000 issue of MINISTRY & LITURGY magazine, including the departments Inside ML, Worship Times, Sharings, and Bulletin Inserts 1 and 2, plus Going Fishing, a special on-line story excerpt from the forthcoming book Jesus and the Kingdom of Nobodies by Andre Papineau.

- The Demo version of Sacramental Register 3.0 has been uploaded again today (28 August). This one corrected some problems related to deleting entries that a user made by mistake... It now seems pretty stable as a commercial application. Check it out at Software.
- The Demo version of Sacramental Register 3.0 has been uploaded again today (25 August). This one changes the underlying data structure, and so will not work with data files created with prior demo versions. To use those files, use the new version to create an empty new set of files. Close the files. Open the empty files again, and import the other data into the new file... Check it out at Software. Please let us hear from you with any problems you encounter with this version.

This one fixes the security so that a user who has opened the files for searches only will be able to have full access to the files for everything except making additions or changes... - The Demo version of Sacramental Register 3.0 has been uploaded today (17 August), This is essentially the same as the last one, except that the help files have been updated, and since the help files refer to version 3.0, we changed the whole installation to be 3.0. Be sure you uninstall the old one before you install this one. Data files are not affected. Check it out at Software. - The final BETA version of Sacramental Register 2.0 has been uploaded today (14 August), This one fixes ten miscellaneous problems with file management and the user interface. There have been enough changes to this beta version, that the forthcoming commercial version will be version 3.0.
- Still another new beta version of Sacramental Register 2.0 has been uploaded today (8 August), This one fixes problems printing groups of certificates and mailing labels. Check it out at Software.

- A new beta version of Sacramental Register 2.0 has been uploaded today (3 August), fixing a newly introduced bug that kept the certificate borders from working correctly. Check it out at Software.
- The Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) about the new Sacramental Register demo have been slightly revised, extending the deadline to 15 August for people who take the trouble to beta test the downloadable version and report on it. We have had a good response to date, but there is still an EXCELLENT chance to win a free copy of the forthcoming release, plus have a direct impact on the software during this development phase. A new beta version has been uploaded today (2 August), with over thirty fixes and improvements as suggested by beta testers. Check it out at Software.

- We put a new, FREE, advance "beta test" version 2.0 of a forthcoming Sacramental Register software release up to be downloaded from the web site and evaluated by whoever wants to do so. Hoping for some feedback prior to the actual release, we are offering evaluators a chance to earn or win a free parish site license and a free copy of the finished program (a $199 value) by simply sharing their findings and opinions with us before May 31, 2000.
