History of 1998 changes and additions

The Author Index, Title
Index, and Subject Index pages have all been
updated to include the ten Spring 1999 new project announcements.
-
The new Spring 1999 titles can be found by clicking on New
Titles, along with those titles which were announced in Fall 1998.
(This is also accessible through the subject index page.) Watch this space
for details as "more information" is developed for each new
project.

Added the complete table of contents for the November 1998 issue of MODERN
LITURGY, with some departments included in their entirety.

Also added the complete table of contents for the December 1998 - January 1999
issue of MODERN LITURGY. This is the
very last issue as MODERN LITURGY. Next month, ML becomes MINISTRY &
LITURGY.

Added the Autumn 1998 issue of Liturgical Catechesis
Newsletter, in its entirety. Subscriptions to this newsletter are now

Added the complete schedule and registration information for the third
annual Lay Leadership Institute, to be held in
San Francisco (Burlingame) in January 1999. Now is the time to reserve
your seat (and seats for two friends) for this cutting edge event.

Added the third introductory issue of Liturgical
Catechesis Newsletter, in its entirety, on the same page with the first
and second issues. Subscriptions to this newsletter are now available at

Added "More Information" to individual product description files, including
cover graphics for The Lent, Triduum,
and Easter Answer Book, MOMStories:
Instant Inspiration for Mothers, and Sharing
the Lectionary for Lent 1999.

In the "How did we do that?" department, we had never put a description
of the convenient and affordable Annual Reprint License (ARL) from Resource
Publications, Inc. on the web site. Well, now we have added it, and you
can see it at Annual Reprint License.

Added an announcement at the top of the ML page that MODERN LITURGY is
changing names. It will be called MINISTRY & LITURGY as of the first
issue in 1999. Also added the complete table of contents for the October
1998 issue of MODERN LITURGY. Some departments in the issue have been included

was updated to reflect changes in the event schedule. There is still time

by Monica Brown includes the table of contents and a good portion of the

by Paul Niemann includes all 101 questions as the table of contents, and

Your Parish To Change, by Fr. Dave Heney. This is an important
book about leadership in contemporary ministry.

Fixed a minor error in the ML Content links for May 1998. The link for
Worship Times was incorrect in that issue's table of contents.

Added a Classified Advertisement Listings page to the MODERN
LITURGY home page. This page is ML's second true "extension" onto the
internet (the first was the current
ML issue discussion) page. The classified ad page will allow ML readers
to place ads and shop in a classified section that can be updated daily!
Use of the classified page will also be promoted in the printed issues
of ML. Check it out at ML Classified Listings.
NOW maybe you can find a new DRE, or a buyer for that old piano or for
your old hymnals!

Added a 43K sample of the Lent 1998 CTL
Unit Background Sheet, which can be obtained as a link from the CTL
Overview page, which is available here or from RPI's home page when
you click on CELEBRATING THE LECTIONARY.

Also added three samples of the Sunday Background Sheets for CTL
for the RCIA option for the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of Lent, at 3rd
Sunday (RCIA), 4th Sunday (RCIA),
and 5th Sunday (RCIA). These samples
are also reachable from the Celebrating the Lectionary
link on the RPI home page.

Also added EIGHTEEN Sample Sessions from CTL, three for each of the six
age levels, covering the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of Lent from Cycle A
in 1996. These are accessible this way: From here or the home page, click
on CELEBRATING THE LECTIONARY. Scroll down this
page until it shows Session Plans. From the table of samples, click on
any one to see the complete text of that session plan.

Reorganized the subject index page to be alphabetical.

Reorganized the RPI Home page to move the Ministry
Resources item up where it is visible without scrolling on most browsers.

Added a field update for Liturgy Plus users (on 3/31) to correct an error
message that occurs when Liturgy Plus is launched between March 30 and
April 10. see Software Field Updates for details.

Added a brochure with details about the Liturgical
Catechesis Conference which is scheduled for August 6-9, 1998 in the
St. Louis, MO area. Seats are limited at this event, so please check it
out sooner rather than later if you might want to attend.

Changed the look and feel of the display on the MODERN
LITURGY home page to connect more related services to this page. Also,
we changed the address of this home page to be more consistent with www
home page conventions, so that anyone who wants to jump directly to ML's
home page can record the address www.rpinet.com/ml rather than the
former tad bit longer address www.rpinet.com/ml/ml.html.

Added the ML advertising rate card, which
gives the mechanical details, rates, deadlines, and policies for those
who might be interested in reaching ML readers with their own message.

Added the ML advertising planner which sketches
the planned editorial emphasis for the forthcoming issues of ML, and gives
general guidelines for display advertising in any field. Your organization
may have something it would like to say to or offer to others in the worship
and ministry fields. Initially, the information on future issues may be
missing or vague, but if you watch this page it will be updated periodically
with forthcoming topics and emphasis.

Added the complete table of contents for the May 1998 issue of MODERN LITURGY,
with some departments included in their entirety. To see it, you'll have

home page to improve the way we identify some of the key publishing
projects and emphases at RPI.

Added a page briefly describing the commercial graphic design and production
service which we have offered for many years, under the name Resource
Graphics.

rewritten to be more accessible to "new" authors, and also to include links
to examples cited. Check it out!

An error was corrected in the page called New Titles
(accessible through the subject index page), which previously had not been
updated for either Fall 1997 or Spring 1998. Both season's new titles are
carried in this list right now.
