Not where I live now as far as i can recall, but several times I have been at Masses where a video or audio tape was played after a short "live" introduction, in place of the homily.
In all cases, these were diocese mandated.
Once in Florida a number of years ago, through sheer bad luck, I ended up sitting through an absurd film two weeks in a row, at two different parishes. That was part of an archbishop's annual appeal, (either Miami or West Palm, cant' recall which,) called, "Archbishop, We Love You!"

It absolutely yeeeshed me out.
