The Great Thanksgiving

In the petition: P: Let us give thanks to the...

for the congregation's response; do you use

1. It is right to give OUR thanks and praise
2. It is right to give GOD thanks and praise
3. It is right to give HIM thanks and praise
4. none of the above.

I've seen it done variously, curious to what is predominate.

This is a case when Dominus Vobiscum, et cum spiritu tuo seemed much easier!
