: You miss the point. I would do everything possible to let homosexuals know they are not welcome in the priesthood. A few may slip by; but compared to the open door policy of past years there would be an improvement.
--Your naivete would be kind of cute if it weren't so dangerous.
--I haven't missed your point. You believe that there is some sort of system or method by which you could prevent homosexuals from entering the priesthood. Or at least deter them to the point where only "a few slip by".
--I'd like to know how you think that could actually be accomplished. Maybe you can be content with such a nebulous, scattershot method of dealing with sexual abuse in the priesthood, but I'm not. You grossly underestimate the scope and complexity of the problem.
