Whether or not the person is gay or not has nothing to do with whether the person is a paedophile. The person who abused me was himself abused as a child. It's a vicious cycle that keeps going and going.

It is not helpful at all to people like me to assert that only gay people abuse children. I can tell you, on the record, that the man who abused me is not gay, yet he's abused both boys and girls - any young, child was fair game to him.
