No, not for me, a question for the liturgical PTB at my church.
They only want silence when THEY mandate it.
No post communion song. Ever. No recessional during Lent. Ever. But no silence during communion, ever, or when children walk out for dismissal, or catechumens dismissal.
They don't seem to care about the ban on purely instrumental music during lent, funerals, etc.
