I am participating in the ILC program at Catholic Theological Union. Went to the Cathedral last summer but sadly remember very little about it except that the concensus was that it was not impressive.

For examples of good renovations in the Chicago area I recommend St. Josaphat and, oh shoot, I forgot the other one (it has a chapel under the old church which is radically different in style but every bit as sacred.) It'll come to me.

I'll have to look up my notes from last summer.
