Bizarromundo.

The Eastern feast of the Theophany celebrates the relevation of the Trinity to humanity in an event: the baptism of Jesus.

The Eastern feast of Pentecost similarly is understood as a feast of Trinity rather than the Holy Spirit as such.

Thus, both holy seasons in the East close with celebrations of Trinitarian events.

But that has not been the development of the liturgical understanding in the West. The feast in the West comes from England, IIRC.

It has been a commonplace that the temptation in the Eastern tradition regarding the Trinity has been tritheism (that is, a tendency to emphasize the differences among the Persons of the Trinity), while that in the Western tradition has been towards toward blurring the differences among the Persons of the Trinity.
