: As a priest, I don't like Sunday evening Masses. After celebrating the Sabbath on the vigil, and in the morning, I enjoy spending the rest of the day with my family. Even priests need the renewal that comes from the Sabbath rest.

Agreed. The parishes where I have worshipped on Sunday evening had more than one priest so that the man who celebrated the Saturday vigil had off on Sunday evening. It won't work everywhere but it can work in some parishes and it is particularly popular in college chapels and parishes frequented by students and young professionals.
